Porcelain Tile

Create a harmonious transition from indoor to outdoor space with the use of porcelain paving. Porcelain paving has a smooth flat surface finish, requires minimal maintenance and is suitable for use as internal or external porcelain paving tile.

Paul Gibbons Landscapes recently completed the installation of a new patio in Macclesfield.

Our clients wanted a new patio area in the back garden across the rear of the house and extension. With a back door and double doors providing access to the outside, the patio created a seamless link between the house and the garden.

If you are thinking of having a new patio in Macclesfield, there are a wide range of patio designs to choose from including intricate patterns to more paired down minimalist designs. Either way, there is something to suit everyone. On this occasion, our clients chose to have their patio done in Marshalls Symphony paving and opted to have porcelain tiles. While you probably associate porcelain tiles with kitchens and bathrooms, porcelain is fast becoming one of the latest trends for outdoor paving. You can see the stunning results of this project from the photographs included.

As part of the project we incorporated an ACO drain, which you can see in one of the pictures, to allow for somewhere for surface water to run to. We neatly created a manhole cover using the porcelain paving which was discreetly part of the patio but enabled easy access to the drains if necessary. We also incorporated a darker edging around the patio to add definition and nicely frame the patio area.

So, why opt for paving from Marshalls Symphony range? One reason is because Symphony paving is vitrified which means that it absorbs little or no moisture so won’t easily succumb to moss and algae growth which in turn cuts down on maintenance. It’s also very strong and so less prone to cracking or staining. Combined with the practical advantages this range of paving can create a stylish and contemporary look in your garden.
